College 3 Rules

Rules for parties
Parties in rooms are not allowed. 'Gatherings' are permitted but this should just be a few people talking. NO LOUD MUSIC!

Rules for Common Room
No parties allowed in the Common Room. People can gather in the Common Room, but this shouldn't disturb others wanting to use the area.

Rules for Basement parties
Anyone wanting to have a party in the basement should contact the College Office Manager well in advance and get permission from him and College Masters.

1) Students must ask for permission in advance.
2) They should give the name of the person responsible for organising the party so we know who to go back to if anything happens.
3) They should have a quick word with those directly above the basement and those directly opposite to let them know that there is a party in case they hear noise (so they don't inform RA's or porters).
4) They should make sure windows and the main basement door are closed during the event.
5) They should perform a sound check beforehand to make sure that it isn't too loud. This means putting any music on at a level they expect it to be then going outside to see how it sounds and adjusting accordingly.
6) They should clean up afterwards. If this isn't done satisfactorily, the organiser will be contacted.
7) RA's will be informed of party, as will Security Team (if on a Friday / Saturday) so they know that something is going on and can check by from time to time.

Rules for Multimedia Room
1) Not for private parties (everyone must be able to watch)
2) Person making booking should write down name, time of booking (from & to times) and what they are watching.
3) Room is not to be booked for prolonged periods of time - give eveyrone a chance to use it!

Sound System - Not for private parties, sorry!

If you want to borrow the C3 BBQ, please book it beforehand.
