The College
College 3 is THE BEST of the four residential colleges at Jacobs University, opened in 2003. It's located at one end of the soccer field, behind the tennis courts. This means that there is a perfect overview of what’s going on at the sports fields during the summer; it is also closer to the sport halls than any other college.
The college being at one end of the campus does not lead to the feeling of being left out; it has its own privacy as well as being well integrated into the community.
College 3’s mascot is a dragon. Drawn by a student, the friendly dragon won the mascot contest held in 2004. From that moment on the mascot joined all College 3 sports competitions and events.
