The College Office Manager

Hi there,

My name is Rob and I'm the College 3 College Office Manager. I'm originally from a town called Barrow-in-Furness in England, which is situated at the end of England's longest cul-de-sac! Although I'm English and lived there until I was 18, I have studied in Scotland and France as well as living for a few years in Northern Ireland, close to Belfast, where my wife and our eldest son are from. Our second son was born in Germany but has a British passport so we are a bit of a mix! I studied German, French and Education at Stirling university, which was excellent preparation for life at Jacobs as Stirling is also a campus-based university, with many different nationalities attending. Having spent 2 years working nearby in a school in Osterholz-Scharmbeck during my studies, I also speak German and know a little about Bremen (at least where all the pubs and clubs are :-)).

I am married to Ruth and we have two sons called Logan and Callum. These guys take up a lot of my free time but when I get a chance, I am very sporty and sociable. I play football for a local team and enjoy going to the gym. You'll maybe see me running around the football pitch during Olympix or ICFT sometime.
